Lauren Carraway joined the staff of the Virginia Commonwealth University National Training and Data Center in 2017, and has served as Instructional Designer and Data Analyst since 2019. She has experience in the design and creation of data collection tools, as well as data analysis and preparation for report writing, assisting ongoing National Training and Data Center tasks, and providing data to the National Training and Data Center management team and the Social Security Administration. Lauren is involved in providing technical support to instructors and participants in Initial Training and Supplemental Training courses, and assists in course design and set-up. She is proficient in the use of RedCap, Blackboard Learning Systems, Zoom and Webex Video Conferencing platforms, and Adobe Suite programs such as Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator. In addition, she has extensive experience reviewing and editing training materials and videos, online courses, presentations, PDFs, and project reports to ensure compliance with accessibility standards.
