WIPA NTDC Supplemental Training: BSADocs - The WIPA Program Director Role Webinar

Work Incentives Planning and Assistance (WIPA) programs are required to prepare a Benefits Summary & Analysis (BS&A) report for beneficiaries needing individualized, case specific information. Report-writing software has become popular among numerous industries and is designed to improve the efficiency and quality of reports, forms, briefs.
The National Training and Data Center (NTDC) developed report templates that reflect differences in state benefits. The NTDC calls the version used by WIPA programs “BSADocs.” All Community Work Incentives Coordinators (CWIC) are required to use BSADocs once they are fully certified. NTDC staff offers training and technical assistance to new users. This training outlines the role of the WIPA Program Director in supporting CWICs to ensure their successful use of the software.
Upon completion of this training, participants will:
• Know the history of BSADocs and how it evolved as a tool for CWICs;
• Understand the use of report-writing software in developing BS&A reports; and
• Be prepared to take an active role in troubleshooting and monitoring CWICs use of the BSADocs as a performance measure.
You are required to complete a ten-question, multiple-choice, competency-based assessment successfully within seven (7) business days after the training to receive completion credit. The assessment will be located in your myNTC account. You will receive additional instructions in your confirmation email on how to take the assessment.
Continuing Certification Credits (CCCs):
If you are participating in the NTDC continuing certification process, we will record three (3) credits for this training in your myNTC account once you successfully complete the assessment. If you are interested in CRC credits, please email Julie Schall at firstname.lastname@example.org once you complete the assessment.
Who should register for this training event?
This training is for WIPA staff only. It is specifically tailored to the WIPA Program Director role, however, any WIPA staff who have completed the certification process may participate.
How do I register?
Once you log into your myNTC account, select the Training Registrations section on your myNTC dashboard, select the Supplemental Trainings tab, select the Register Online link for the BSADocs – WIPA Program Director’s Role webinar, and follow the instructions posted.
Registration will remain open until October 21, 2021. We will email confirmations of participation shortly thereafter.
